Several years ago I saw a story on a local news station about an art gallery that had recently opened in Tampa. I contacted the gallery's owner Pam Moody, an accomplished artist herself, and told her about the jewelry and other gift items I was making. We met and I showed her samples of my work. Pam enthusiastically invited me to join the group of local artists whose works were already on display at the gallery.
Since then I have been designing a wide variety of items. Much of what I have made is on display at the gallery, and several peices have been sold!
It has taken a lot of work and help from so many people for me to have gotten to where I am. This page is dedicated to acknowledging and saying "thank you" to everyone that helped me. There are far too many people to name, but you know who you are!
Special thanks to my friend Kelli Leroux. Kelli is a Registered Respiratory Therapist, holds an M.S. degree in Health Services Admimistration, and is working to fulfill the requirements to become a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner. Kelli introduced me to the chakras, stones and crystals associated with the Healing Touch techniques, and specific stones as they related to my personal treatment/healing needs.
Thanks to the "dude"... my wonderful nephew Cody. He has been on this journey with me from the beginning, He helped me put together a large order of bracelets for St. Joseph's Hosital, was the first to visit the gallery with me, continues to accompany me to gallery events, and best of all, is still wearing the guitar pick necklace I made him last year!! Hey dude - you might want to consider taking it off & washing your neck !
Finally, my eternal gratitude to the man who, in his own home, continues stepping on beads, crystals, stones, pins, etc. I've been stepping on them too, and I know...IT HURTS ! I am honestly grateful that he hasn't picked up every box, bag, case, display stand ( and me! ) and tossed everything into the nearest dumpster.
That's love!
